Screen Filler is one of those products that replace the use of photo emulsions and we usually refer to it as direct drawing screen system. The result of working with these materials is almost immediate and dosn't require insolation. Usually we talk about 3 fluids: a drawing liquid, a block filler liquid and a third liquid for remove the screen mesh.

The Speedball Screen Filler is the coater liquid, it's applied above the drawing made with the Drawing Fluid, and it cover and of waterproof all those areas through which the screen printing ink will not fall. The Screen Filler is soluble in water but once dry it is indelible and waterproof. That is why it is resistant to the use of water-based screen printing inks. To remove the Screen Filler and recover the screen mesh, it will be necessary to use the Speed Clean product and it is not compatible with other standard screen printing remove systems. To apply the screen filler, we recommend using a scoopp coater for screen printing. In this way, we ensure a thin and even layer of coater.

The name Direct Drawing, coined by the Vostok Printing Shop team, dosn't refer to a material from a specific brand but rather to an indirect silk-screen work process in which various screenprinting blocking materials are involved. These fluids used mark unconventional work guidelines, are applied directly on the screen and are used to create screen printing frames without insolation machine or another photomechanical processes. All work prior to printing is done directly on the screen, without photoliths production and no indirect films.
