This cyanotype postcard kit is designed to help you discover one of the oldest photographic printing processes still used today in artistic practice.
Cyanotype creates images through the direct action of light on a mixture of photosensitive iron salts. When the emulsion is applied to paper and exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet light, the image gradually appears, producing the characteristic deep blue colour known as Prussian blue.
