Custom Pottery Stamps
Custom Stamps for Ceramics and Clay
At Rittagraf we specialize in manufacturing custom ceramic stamps, designed to mark fresh clay, stoneware, earthenware, porcelain, or polymer clay with maximum definition. Our stamps allow potters, ceramic artists, and artisans to sign, decorate, and give identity to their pieces in a professional and lasting way.
We produce ceramic stamps in high-quality acrylic, mounted on traditional wooden handles for comfortable and precise use. We can also adapt to other formats: flat stamps without handles, transparent acrylic bases, or special engraving depths according to each project’s needs.

FAQs about Pottery Stamps
Can I use a pottery stamp on dry clay or only on fresh clay?
Our pottery stamps are designed to work on soft materials: fresh clay, leather-hard clay, unfired porcelain or stoneware. They are not suitable for dry or fired pieces, since the surface is too hard. For that purpose, we recommend using a rubber stamp with a specific ink.
What is the recommended engraving depth for a pottery stamp?
Standard engraving depth is between 1–2 mm, enough to leave a clear impression on fresh clay. However, as direct manufacturers, we can adjust the engraving depth (up to 3 mm) depending on your design and material.
Can pottery stamps be used on stoneware and porcelain?
Yes. Our stamps work perfectly on porcelain, stoneware, polymer clay, soap or plasticine, as long as the material is still soft. For hard ceramic surfaces, it is best to stamp during the early stages of modeling.
Can I customize a pottery stamp with my logo?
Absolutely. We manufacture personalized pottery stamps using logos, initials, signatures, or illustrations. Every file is checked by our team to ensure the best adaptation to engraving.
Can any image be used to make a pottery stamp?
Almost any image can be used, but best results come from designs with defined lines and not too many solid areas. Large filled shapes require more pressure and may not transfer properly onto the clay.
Can I order a pottery stamp in other sizes not listed on the website?
Yes. We can manufacture custom pottery stamps in almost any size and thickness up to 10 mm. However, we recommend avoiding very large stamps, as they can be harder to press evenly onto clay.
How do I clean and maintain a pottery stamp?
Our pottery stamps are made of durable, moisture-resistant materials. Simply rinse them with water and use a small brush to remove clay residues. Dry well before storing to extend their lifespan.
At Rittagraf, we make custom ceramic stamps with the precision, durability, and guarantee of a manufacturer specializing in graphic arts and crafts. Order your stamp online or visit us in our physical store in Barcelona, Spain.
