Phosphorescent ink for fabric screen printing. Rittagraf® phosphorescent ink contains a high-quality pigment that charges in daylight and provides glow in the dark.
Cream-green finish. It is necessary to print on a light background or make an opaque white base to improve the glow and phosphorescent effect.
It can also be applied on other porous surfaces such as paper, cardboard or wood.
Phosphorescent inks are inks that are charged by daylight (also fluorescent, led or incandescent light) and that glow in the dark. The phosphorescent pigments and the composition of the ink make it non-opaque. To achieve a phosphorescent effect it is essential to print on a light background or to make a white base when working with dark fabrics.
Rittagraf® inks are manufactured under the highest environmental requirements and high quality controls. These inks are created free of phthalates and solvents. The aqueous composition reduces toxicity and improves the user experience, facilitating the handling and cleaning of tools.
It's necessary to iron the garment once dry to improve resistance to washing. Rittagraf® phosphorescent textile inks do not require the use of textile retardants. Overlapping large amounts of phosphorescent ink can cause slight pigment shedding. To avoid such detachment, it is advisable to overprint with acramine base ink (transparent base fabric ink). In this way, we ensure a perfect fixation and increase safety, discarding any pictorial detachment of the garment.
Our phosphorescent textile inks can also be printed on other porous surfaces, and can also be applied with a roller for stamp printing. Testing is required before starting a production.
We have a wide color chart but in addition, Rittagraf® offers the manufacture and customization of special water-based colors for screen printing.
