The squeegee tool it's used to transfer the ink through the screen mesh, making the stamping in serigraphy.
Our screen printing squeegees are mounted on a moisture-resistant pine wood profile. The ergonomic construction of the wooden handle is designed for a firm grip on the tool.
Rubber hardness is measured in shore degrees. The colors of the rubbers are distinctive of the shore grades, indicating their hardness. Higher numbers indicate greater hardness. It's important to choose a suitable hardness depending on the support we are working on. The squeegee rubber influences the ink deposit. A squeegee with a soft rubber will allow more ink to drop, adapting to the support. While a hard rubber squeegee will let less ink through.
The yellow rubbers have a hardness of 65º shore and the green ones have a hardness of 75º shore. Screen printing squeegees with yellow rubber are considered more suitable for textile printing or when we need to transfer more ink. Green raclettes are harder and considered more versatile. Suitable above all for printing on paper, cardboard, wood, metal or plastic.
Characteristics: -Rubber with a straight profile.
