Rittagraf offers a specialized service in the manufacturing of custom photogravure plates using high-quality Toyobo polymer. These steel-based plates with a hardness of 65-70 shores are designed to withstand the high pressures of the printing process. We work closely with our clients to ensure satisfactory results, managing the images and defining key details.
Our commitment to quality leads us to exclusively use Toyobo Japanese polymers, treated according to precise handling and preservation instructions. We recommend 0.73mm or 0.95mm thick plates for intaglio printing.
These plates are ideally printed with traditional oil-based engraving inks for etching. For maintenance, it is recommended to clean them with special cleaner oils and avoid water or alcohol.
In addition to reproducing photographic images, our plates are used for creating relief matrices (letterpress, pad printing, etc.). We offer standard options in 4 DIN sizes and can accommodate requests for custom sizes.
If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on custom photogravure plate manufacturing.
