Box of 100 sheets of 125-micron Inkjet Clear polyester film for printing digital film positives with inkjet printers. Its dedicated inkjet coating provides sharp images and high-density blacks while maintaining high light transmission.

Ideal for screen printing, photogravure and photopolymer workshops, print studios and schools with regular film-positive production.

Available as 100-sheet boxes in A4 or A3. Print on the coated side.

Inkjet Clear Polyester for Regular Film Positive Production

Rittagraf Inkjet Clear Polyester is a transparent PET film specifically treated for producing digital film positives with inkjet printers.

This 100-sheet box is intended for workshops, studios, schools and professional users producing positives regularly and requiring a consistent film for everyday production.

One side incorporates a special ink-receptive coating that helps produce sharp images and high-density blacks while maintaining good light transmission through the clear areas.

Specifically Designed for Inkjet Printing

Inkjet inks require a receptive surface to control ink deposition and adhesion.

The coating on Inkjet Clear helps produce fine detail, clean edges and dense printed areas suitable for exposure processes.

The film is coated on one side only, which is the side that must be printed.

Transparency and Optical Density

The transparent areas of a positive should efficiently transmit exposure light, while printed areas need sufficient density to block it.

Both DMin and DMax are therefore useful parameters when evaluating film for photomechanical work.

Technical Data and Rittagraf Measurements

  • Nominal thickness: 125 µm
  • Total thickness: approx. 155 µm
  • Material: transparent biaxially oriented PET
  • Coating: specific for inkjet printing
  • Printable side: one side
  • Box sizes: 100 A4 or A3 sheets
  • DMin:
  • DMax:
  • Light transmission:

Maximum density also depends on the printer, ink, print profile, resolution and ink deposit.

Screen Printing Film Positives

Inkjet Clear can produce positives containing solid artwork, text, illustrations, halftones and colour separations.

The 100-sheet format is particularly practical for professional workshops, print studios and educational environments with regular positive production.

Photogravure and Photopolymer

Its good light transmission also makes it suitable for photogravure, photopolymer plates and other photomechanical processes.

Exposure times should always be checked when changing film or printing conditions.

Cyanotype and Alternative Processes

It can also be used to print digital positives or negatives for cyanotype, Van Dyke, SolarFast and other alternative photographic processes.

When Should I Choose the 100-Sheet Box?

This presentation is particularly suitable for:

  • Professional screen printing and printmaking workshops
  • Art schools and educational centres
  • Graphic and print studios
  • Shared workshops
  • Regular film-positive production

For occasional use, the same film is also available as individual A4 and A3 sheets.

Inkjet Clear, Inkjet Matte or Laser Film?

Inkjet Clear combines a clear base with a coating specifically designed for inkjet printing.

Inkjet Matte is also intended for inkjet printers but has different surface and thickness characteristics.

For laser printers, choose a laser-compatible polyester film specifically designed to receive toner.

Available Formats

Each box contains:

  • 100 A4 sheets
  • 100 A3 sheets

Inkjet Clear is also available as individual sheets and as a 24" (61 cm) roll for inkjet plotters.
