Translucent matt polyester sheets suitable for printing with laser printers. As it is a thermosetting material, it does not shrink or expand with changes in temperature. It keeps the printed image stable and does not deform it.
Suitable for all types of laser printers and photocopiers that use photoconductor as an image fixation system.
This material is indicated for making professional photolithographs for different types of techniques: screen printing, offset, photogravure or techniques involving photomechanical processes that require the use of an opaque image on a transparent background. Although it is true that matte polyester film is not 100% transparent and in some techniques it can leave a soft veil. In that case, we would recommend using inkjet polyester film which is much more translucent.
To improve the opacity of the print we recommend applying Black Covering spray to blacken the laser printed sheets and ensure excellent opacity. Matte polyester can also be used to make manual positives using opaque markers, inactinic markers or other drawing materials. Interesting graphic textures are achieved when dry graphic materials are used (pencils, chalks, waxes, graphite). Wrinkle-free and stable when working with liquid materials, it's also ideal for creating transparent positives with India ink, toner washes, and other fluid materials.
Print professional positives for screen printing using a desktop and laser printer. If you intend to work using digital printing, it is important to make sure that the printer with which you intend to print the photolithographs is laser technology, not inkjet. To print photolithographs with inkjet printers, it is necessary to use polyester for inkjet technology.
