The Novadom MXP Polyester Lithography Plate is a professional-grade matrix designed for polyester plate lithography – a contemporary variant of lithography that blends the freedom of autographic drawing with the precision of digital laser printing.
Also known as Polyester Desktop Plate or Polyester Offset Plate, this sheet is derived from the offset printing industry (CTP/DTP) and optimised for laser printing and dry toner transfer (DTT), delivering exceptionally precise and stable image reproduction.
It offers two creative approaches:
Autographic drawing – Work directly on the surface using greasy drawing materials such as lithographic crayons, pencils, permanent markers, litho chalks, ink, or even screen printing blockout fluid (testing recommended). The plate is then processed and printed using a lithographic or algrafía method.
Digital laser printing – Print your design directly from file with a laser printer, then ink and print it just like a traditional offset plate.
In our experience, the Novadom MXP delivers outstanding results for laser printing, thanks to its durability, slight transparency for accurate registration, and professional finish. It is printable on both sides, making tracing, registration, and composition easier. It also provides greater durability and stability than many other polyester litho plates on the market – even compared to generic “Pronto Plates”.
